ZBF employs one full time member of staff in the UK. They have sole day to day responsibility for all aspects of the charity's work on the ground including sourcing, assessing and monitoring of projects and visit Zimbabwe regularly to see first hand the impact of projects. They are also responsible for all of the administration and communication mechanisms of ZBF including the newsletter and website. They are assisted periodically with the help of volunteers. In Zimbabwe, ZBF works with individual project consultants who take responsibility for the overseeing, monitoring and implementation of ZBF projects.
Trustees
- Mark Katzenellenbogen, Chairman: Mark was born in South Africa and educated in Swaziland and the UK. He has an MA from Trinity College Cambridge. He was a director of S.G Warburg & Co. Ltd. (the London based merchant bank) and is now the chief executive of Auden Capital LLP, an independent investment banking firm. He is also a non-executive director of Oldfield & Co (London) Ltd, an investment management firm.
- Julian Ozanne: Julian was brought up in Kenya, Lesotho and England. He has a BSC degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and was a correspondent with the Financial Times of London where his positions included Middle East bureau chief and Africa bureau chief. Julian is now CEO of Sun Bio fuels and the New Forests Company. He is also a director of the Kurdish Human Rights Project
- Jean Marc Olivier, Treasurer: Jean-Marc was born and brought up in Zimbabwe. He has a BCom (hons) degree from Edinburgh University. He qualified with KPMG in London and manages his own property business.
- Andrew Wade: Andrew was born and brought up in England. He has an MA from Selwyn College Cambridge. He is a partner in Lawrence Graham LLP Solicitors. He is also a non-executive director of The Funding Network.
