Emergency Education Appeal

For many children in Zimbabwe education is no longer a part of daily life. The crippling poverty that now grips the country means that the majority of parents are unable to afford to pay the fees necessary for their children to attend school. This means that many children across the country are denied access to the most basic education.

Trustee's Biographies

Mr Mark Katzenellenbogen
Mark was born in South Africa and educated in Swaziland and the UK. He has an MA from Trinity College Cambridge. He was a director of S.G Warburg & Co. Ltd. (the London based merchant bank) and is now the chief executive of Auden Capital LLP, an independent investment banking firm. He is also a non-executive director of Oldfield & Co (London) Ltd, an investment management firm.


Mr Julian Ozanne
Julian was brought up in Kenya, Lesotho and England. He has a BSC degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and was a correspondent with the Financial Times of London where his positions included Middle East bureau chief and Africa bureau chief. Julian is now CEO of Sun Bio fuels and the New Forests Company. He is also a director of the Kurdish Human Rights Project


Mr. Jean Marc Olivier


Andrew Wade
Andrew was born and brought up in England. He has an MA from Selwyn College Cambrisge. He is a partner in Lawrence Graham LLP Solicitors. He is also a non-executive director of The Funding Network.
